From a Bold Idea in Ghana to a Global Healthtech Pioneer
Milvik BIMA began with a simple yet powerful vision in Ghana: to make life insurance accessible to underserved communities. By partnering with a local telecom provider, we reimagined how insurance could be delivered — affordably, digitally, and at scale, covering as many people as possible.
Since then, we’ve grown into a multi-market innovator, operating in 6 countries across Africa and Asia, reaching over 7 million customers and covering 20 million lives.
Expanding the Boundaries of Insurance
Our product portfolio now goes far beyond life insurance — we offer comprehensive healthcare Plans, including our flagship B-Care Plan providing Cashless medical experience via an integrated ecosystem we curated.
In addition to life and health insurance, we have also expanded into device, motor, and crop insurance in select markets, based on the evolving needs of our customers.
